In 2008 more than 87,000 central Ohio youth voiced their choice for U.S. President, Ohio Attorney General, Ohio Supreme Court, U.S. Congress, Statewide and local issues.
But Kids Voting election efforts don’t stop there.
Our mission is to motivate and prepare students to take part in every election, including important mid-term elections and state and local races. The people who run our cities, townships, counties, and schools have as much and sometimes more impact on the lives of every student and adult in central Ohio as does the President.
The Kids Voting DoubleClick Democracy program for the November 8 general election will take place in classrooms beginning October 17 and running through Election Day. |
